Udupi, Dec 1, 2013: “if you don’t
understand religions, then to live in peace and harmony would be
difficult. When travelling in the train called life, as soon as we hear
the word “GOD”, we explode in anger and aggression. Wherever we live, we
should live like humans. To doubt, to blame and to insult religions is
wrong” said the kannada’s famous author Na D’Souza on the occasion of
golden jubilee celebration of SHANTI PRAKASHANA Publication under the
campaign called “Literature for peace” at Townhall,Udupi.
Another Guest who spoke on this occasion was Mr. Varadesh Hiregange, Director, Manipal Institute of Communication, Manipal.
“Through
the medium of literature, a society can be transformed was shown by
prophet Mohammad (PBUH) in such an uncivilized place of arab. Protection
of Women, who was buried alive during those times was ordered in qur’an
and hence in such a way women gained respect in the society. This is
the best example to prove that better literature can bring about great
change in the society” spoke A.K Kukkila ,Editor,Sanmarga weekly Who

security of woman rather than bomb blasts should be the concern. The
